Andreas Acker, Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer

Andreas Acker was named Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer in 2014. Prior to his most recent appointment, he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer since July 2012.

Acker has worked in State Fund’s Human Resources (HR) department since 1992, serving as an HR Management Consultant, Assistant HR Manager, and Labor Relations Officer. He was promoted to Human Resources Manager in 2006 and named Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Organizational Development in 2009.

In his various assignments, Acker has played a key role in directing State Fund through a number of challenging human resources issues. Acker is currently tasked with modernizing the human resource practices of State Fund.

Acker earned a Bachelor of Arts in history from the University of California, Davis (UCD).

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer is responsible for directing State Fund’s Corporate HR, HR Connect, HR Business Partners, Workforce Solutions, Real Estate Management, Business Services, Enterprise Procurement, and Equal Employment Opportunity programs.
