State Fund Presents Unique Construction Safety Seminar in Canoga Park

CANOGA PARK, CA --- A comprehensive seminar series offered by State Compensation Insurance Fund will show employers innovative approaches to construction safety. The free seminars highlight methods of identifying, preventing, and controlling job-site hazards.

The next event is scheduled for October 21 in Canoga Park.

Presentations given by State Fund safety professionals will address how to:

  • Evaluate work sites for unsafe conditions by hazard mapping
  • Prevent soft-tissue injuries
  • Identify and controlling occupational disease hazards

Registration and complimentary continental breakfast begin at 8:00 a.m. at the Canoga Park Elk’s Club, 20925 Osborne Street. The seminar will end at 11:30 a.m.
