March 2 is the deadline for filing the 300A Log

If you haven’t filed your 300A (Summary of Work-Related Injuries and Illnesses) form with federal OSHA for the 2018 calendar year,the deadline is fast approaching. These forms must be filed electronically; you can use the Federal OSHA Injury Tracking Application to submit your Form 300A.

The March 2, 2019 deadline was part of an emergency regulation that became law last November in California. That regulation, and the pending deadline, apply to:

The March 2 deadline is OSHA’s annual filing date and applies not only to the 2018 calendar year, but also future years. That means, your 300A for 2019 is due March 2, 2020.
