Creating a Safety Culture at Work

Safety and productivity go hand-in-hand at the workplace. Avoiding injuries keeps employees on the job and business operations moving. When a worker is injured, that productivity is disrupted.

In California, workplace safety starts with the Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP), but it doesn’t end there. A positive safety culture creates an environment where employees understand how important safe work practices are and work to support those efforts.
