Studies show that injured employees recuperate faster when return to work is part of the treatment plan. In addition, indirect costs of training additional staff may decrease and morale and productivity may increase.
Return to work (RTW) programs foster the injured employees back to a safe workplace. With available transitional work, the injured employee can safely transition into the workplace. Transitional work becomes part of the active treatment process. This active healing process starts as soon as possible after an injury or illness. Progress is monitored until the injured employee is back to full duty.
Effective RTW programs require cooperation and communication early and often between you the medical provider, the employer, employee and State Fund. To find out more about our RTW program, visit our Return to Work Program page.
