State Fund and UCLA-LOSH Offer Free Workshop Tackling Workplace Hazards and Ergonomics

SANTA ANA, CA --- State Fund has partnered with UCLA’s Labor Occupational Safety and Health (LOSH) program to present a free workshop helping employers learn to identify and correct workplace hazards. A special session will be held during the workshop to address ergonomics as well.

The event takes place April 29 in Santa Ana.

Presentations will be given by both an Occupational Health Educator from LOSH and a State Fund Ergonomics Consultant.

Attendees should walk away with knowledge of how to find safety hazards and fix them, and also how to provide safety training to employees tailored to their businesses. In addition, they will gain a better understanding of ergonomics and how it can be applied to their safety programs.

Registration and complimentary breakfast begin at 8:30 a.m. at the State Fund Orange County Regional Office, 1750 E. Fourth Street. The seminar will end at noon.
