State Fund Tackles Workplace and Obesity in Free Pleasanton Seminar

PLEASANTON, CA --- State Compensation Insurance Fund is presenting a free seminar to help employers learn methods for accommodating aging and obesity in the workplace.

The event takes place May 26 in Pleasanton.

Topics to be discussed include:

  • Ergonomic adjustments and solutions for the worker
  • Weight as a factor in determining duration of disability
  • Benefits of hiring and retaining the older worker

Registration and complimentary breakfast begin at 8:30 a.m. at the State Fund Bay Area Policy Services Office, 5890 Owens Drive, Pacific/Atlantic Conference Room. The seminar will end at 11:30 a.m.
