State Fund to Provide Supervisor Safety Training at Free Seminar in Oxnard

OXNARD, CA --- State Compensation Insurance Fund is holding free seminars in English and Spanish to help supervisors and managers better understand the role they play in workplace safety.

The events take place on November 4 in Oxnard.

The seminars will help attendees learn how to:

  • Increase employee participation in safety programs
  • Identify unsafe workplace conditions and behaviors
  • Recognize causes of accidents and implement corrective strategies

Registration and complimentary continental breakfast begin at 8:00 a.m. for the morning session in English, which ends at 11:00 a.m. An afternoon session will be held in Spanish, with registration and refreshments at 1:00 p.m. That seminar will end at 4:00 p.m.

The seminars take place at the State Fund Oxnard Regional Office, 2901 N. Ventura Road.
