Fall Protection Seminar in Duarte Will Show Best Practices for Protecting Workers

DUARTE, CA --- A free seminar offered by State Compensation Insurance Fund focuses on helping employers develop an effective fall protection program. In addition, demonstrations will show how fall hazards can be identified and corrected so that serious injuries can be prevented on jobsites.

The next event is scheduled for May 4 in Duarte.

John Ford, Senior Safety Consultant at Cal/OSHA, will also help attendees learn to:

  • Determine the best methods for protecting workers
  • Understand and comply with Cal/OSHA standards related to fall protection
  • Conduct training as required by Cal/OSHA

Registration and complimentary continental breakfast begin at 8:30 a.m. at the Duarte Elks Lodge, 2436 East Huntington Drive. The seminar will end at 11:30 a.m.
