Cal/OSHA and State Fund Urge Electrical Safety in Free Seminar Scheduled for Canoga Park

CANOGA PARK, CA --- State Fund and Cal/OSHA are offering a free seminar to show employers how electrical safety practices can prevent workplace accidents and reduce workers’ compensation claims.

The event is scheduled for October 5 in Canoga Park.

Topics to be discussed include:

  • Incorporating safe electrical practices
  • Understanding lockout/tagout basics
  • Developing an effective lockout/tagout program

Registration and complimentary continental breakfast begin at 8:30 a.m. at the Elks Lodge Canoga Park, 20925 Osborne Street. The seminar will end at 12:00 p.m.
