Eureka Seminar Will Show Benefits of Safe Welding Operations

EUREKA, CA --- State Compensation Insurance Fund is holding a free seminar demonstrating correct safety practices for welding operations in an effort to help employers protect their workers.

The event is scheduled for October 20 in Eureka.

Topics to be discussed include:

  • Avoiding fines by knowing Cal/OSHA requirements
  • Preventing injuries by identifying welding hazards
  • Protecting workers from illness by conducting air sampling

Registration and complimentary continental breakfast begin at 8:00 a.m. at the State Fund Eureka Regional Office, 2440 Sixth Street. The seminar will end at 12:00 p.m.
