Construction Safety Seminar in Redding Designed to Prevent Costly Claims

REDDING, CA --- A comprehensive seminar series offered by State Compensation Insurance Fund will show employers innovative approaches to construction safety. The free seminars highlight methods of recognizing jobsite hazards to prevent serious injuries and costly workers’ compensation claims.

The next event is scheduled for Wednesday, November 2 in Redding.

Presentations given by State Fund safety professionals will address how to:

  • Evaluate work sites for unsafe conditions by hazard mapping
  • Prevent soft-tissue injuries
  • Identify and control occupational disease hazards

Registration and complimentary continental breakfast begin at 8:30 a.m. at the Shasta Builders Exchange, 2985 Innsbruck Drive. The seminar will end at noon.
