Vacaville, CA – California’s State Compensation Insurance Fund (State Fund) received several awards at the annual conference of the American Association of State Compensation Insurance Funds (AASCIF).
AASCIF, an association of workers' compensation insurance companies from 26 different states nationwide, plus eight workers' compensation boards in Canada, held its 2013 conference from July 14-17 in Austin, Texas.
The AASCIF Communications Awards are presented annually to member funds and boards that have addressed communications issues with professional skill, creativity, and resourcefulness.
At the 2013 AASCIF conference, State Fund earned recognition in four diverse communications categories, including one first place finish.
The annual awards, created to recognize the best, most creative and effective communications programs created by workers’ compensation funds/boards in the United States and Canada, were judged this year by an independent committee of PR professionals from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).
