State Fund Offers Free Heat Illness & Injury Protection Seminar

Tulare, CA -- State Fund offers California employers a free seminar on Heat Illness & Injury Protection.
Heat illness can be deadly. Tulare County Farm Bureau and State Compensation Insurance Fund have partnered to offer seminars that will help employers prevent injuries, lost business, and costly fines by understanding and maintaining an effective heat safety awareness program. This event is free to attend and offered in both English and Spanish.
The presentation will include information about:
- Basic steps to prevention
- Cal/OSHA regulations
- Warning signs and symptoms
- How to integrate heat illness protections into your current Injury and Illness Prevention Plan
