State Compensation Insurance Fund Offers Extended Credit Terms for California Businesses Affected by Wildfires

With States of Emergency declared in five California counties, State Compensation Insurance Fund (State Fund) is offering extended credit terms to California policyholders who suffer losses to their business due to the following wildfires:
- Blue Cut Fire in San Bernardino County.
- Chimney Fire in San Luis Obispo County.
- Clayton Fire in Lake County.
- Sand Fire in Los Angeles County.
- Soberanes Fire in Monterey County.
A 30-day credit extension is available to those experiencing business disruptions.
“With such widespread devastation throughout the state, many State Fund policyholders have suffered losses to homes and businesses,” said Vern Steiner, State Fund President and CEO. “We recognize the hardship caused by these conditions, and are providing help where we can with the credit extension.”
State Fund policyholders who experience wildfire-related impacts can request the extension by calling the State Fund Customer Service Center at (888) 782-8338 or by contacting their insurance broker.
