State Fund offers California employers free seminars on machine guarding and Lockout/Tagout safety.

State Compensation Insurance Fund and Cal/OSHA Consultation Services are partnering to offer a safety seminar to help employers understand the Cal/OSHA standards related to protecting employees working with machinery. This seminar is designed to help you understand essential Lockout/Tagout and machine guarding practices and how to implement effective procedures to protect your company and employees.

The free course includes information about:

How to recognize and respond to potential dangers in the workplace.
How to ensure that the machinery and equipment in your workplace is properly guarded.
When Lockout/Tagout is required.
