One thing you can do to reduce on-the-job injuries in your operation and foster a positive safety culture is to take advantage of California’s Worker Occupational Safety and Health Training and Education Program (WOSHTEP). WOSHTEP is a statewide initiative that offers a variety of health and safety services. These include young worker health and safety programs, small business resources, and Worker Occupational Safety and Health (WOSH) Specialist training.

This program is designed to provide training and disseminate materials through a statewide network of trainers coordinated by the Northern California Resource Center at the University of California, Berkeley, and by the Southern California Resource Center at the University of California, Los Angeles. The training program is free of charge and offered in English, Spanish, and Chinese.
