State Fund offers California employers free seminars on Labor Law and Workplace Safety.
This training is designed to help California employers better understand rights and responsibilities for employers and employees related to labor law and workplace safety. Attendees will learn about laws and best practices regarding: hiring and termination, drug testing (including marijuana in the workplace), the importance of having an effective workplace safety program, and more.
The labor law information will be presented by labor and employment law attorney K. Poncho Baker. Poncho has been practicing law since 1991, is a partner with the firm of Klein, DeNatale & Goldner, and has been selected to the Northern California Super Lawyers list since 2009.
