State Fund has recently received reports that a third party bill payment service called doxo.com is currently marketing its services to State Fund customers. State Fund is not affiliated with doxo.com nor does it partner with any third party bill payment services. Policyholders need to know the potential risks of using these types of services.
Third party bill payment services allow consumers to pay their bills via the service’s website. If a policyholder uses one of these services, they may be charged an additional fee and there is a risk that the payment may not be delivered on time.
The doxo.com website claims that State Fund does not accept online payments—this is incorrect. State Fund accepts online payments at www.statefundca.com.
To make sure that payments are credited correctly and on time, State Fund encourages policyholders to contact State Fund or send payments directly using one of these three options:
