New Training and Recognition Program Focuses on Safety

April 1, 2021

Pleasanton, CA—State Fund’s Safety Training and Recognition (STAR) Program is designed to help employers learn and implement safer work practices with free online safety training. Maintaining a safe workplace is not only good for business, it’s quite simply the right thing for employers to do for their workers.

Participating policyholders with sheet metal, carpentry, and roofing class codes will complete training on fall prevention, while all other participating policyholders will receive training on building a strong safety culture at their workplace, including the creation and implementation of an Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP).

After completing the program, policyholders will receive acknowledgment for their company on www.SafeAtWorkCA.com and a Certificate of Recognition. For more information about these programs, contact State Fund’s Safety Support Team at SafetySupport@scif.com. For more information about State Fund, visit www.StateFundCA.com.
