UPDATE: Governor Newsom adds additional counties to the state of emergency. We are now offering a 30-day extension to policyholders in Amador and Lake Counties.
PLEASANTON, CA.—State Compensation Insurance Fund (State Fund) is offering a 30-day credit extension to policyholders affected by ten wildfires currently burning in Northern California counties declared a state of emergency by Governor Gavin Newsom. The counties are Alpine, Amador, Butte, El Dorado, Lake, Lassen, Nevada, Placer, Plumas, Siskiyou, Shasta, Tehema, and Trinity.
Policyholders can request the extension by calling State Fund’s Customer Service Center at (888) 782-8338 or through their insurance broker. State Fund will continue to monitor the situation and be flexible to expand the 30-day credit extension if necessary.
