SAN FRANCISCO — State Compensation Insurance Fund is presenting a full-day workshop entitled “Office Ergonomics” as part of State Fund’s Employer Education Series. Offered at no charge to current State Fund policyholders only, the professional ergonomics session is scheduled for Wednesday, November 5, at State Fund’s corporate headquarters in San Francisco.
Board Certified Industrial Ergonomists R.J. Banks and Helen Chandler of State Fund will help attendees recognize and react to ergonomic mismatches affecting their workplace. In addition, attendees will receive State Fund’s CD, “Ergonomics: How May We Help You?” with training on how to use it.
Bay Area Policy Services is presenting this workshop in State Fund’s 2nd Floor PAC Room at 1275 Market Street, San Francisco. On-site registration and a complimentary continental breakfast start at 8:00 a.m.; the workshop ends at 4:30 p.m.
Seating is limited, so State Fund encourages early registration. The San Francisco workshop is part of a series of educational programs State Fund is holding throughout the state to help employers create safe workplaces. State Fund has the largest safety and health services program among California workers’ compensation insurance carriers.
