State Fund Holding Ergonomics Seminar for Office and Home Healthcare Work

PLEASANTON --- State Compensation Insurance Fund is presenting a free seminar designed to show employers simple, cost-effective solutions to ergonomics challenges in the workplace. The first section of the seminar will cover basic ergonomics and is appropriate for all employers. After that, the seminar will be split into two separate, interactive workshops—office ergonomics and home healthcare ergonomics.

The event is scheduled for October 15 in Pleasanton.

Speaker topics include:

  • Developing an effective ergonomics program
  • Identifying and controlling risk factors
  • Proper work techniques

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. at the State Fund Bay Area Regional Office, 5890 Owens Drive, Pacific/Atlantic Conference Room. The seminar will end at noon.
