State Fund and CHP Holding Free Driving Strategies Workshop

VISALIA/FRESNO, CA --- State Compensation Insurance Fund and the California Highway Patrol have partnered to present a statewide series of free safety workshops addressing enhanced driving strategies.

The next events take place on Wednesday, October 28 in Visalia and Thursday, October 29 in Fresno.

Conducted by the CHP, the presentations are designed for employers who manage drivers as part of their business operation.

Safe driving strategies, driver training topics, and effective action plans will be discussed. In addition, resources will be provided to improve existing defensive driving plans and safety programs.

The San Bernardino workshop is located at the Tulare and Kings Counties Builders Exchange, 1223 South Lovers Lane. The event in Fresno is held at the State Fund Fresno Regional Office, 10 River Park Place East.

Registration and complimentary continental breakfast begin at 8:00 a.m. on both days. The workshops end at noon.

The seminar is part of State Fund’s Employer Education Series offered throughout the state on a variety of workers’ compensation topics.
