State Fund Offers Business Continuity Guidance in Free Seminar

ONTARIO, CA --- State Compensation Insurance Fund and UC Berkeley’s Center for Infectious Disease and Emergency Readiness are holding a free seminar to help businesses plan for the H1N1 influenza and a possible pandemic.

The event takes place on November 3 in Ontario.

Designed for business owners, HR managers, health and safety leaders, and risk and security managers, this seminar will help prepare businesses on key concepts of business continuity and emergency planning. Attendees will learn how to prepare their organizations for the potential impact this flu season may have on their workforces.

Representatives from the American Red Cross, San Bernardino and Riverside County Departments of Public Health, and California Emergency Management Agency will all be at the event to provide resource and training materials.

Registration and complimentary breakfast begin at 8:00 a.m. at the Doubletree Hotel Ontario, 222 N. Vineyard Avenue. The seminar will end at noon.
