Free State Fund Seminar Examines Workers' Comp Claims and Fraud

RIVERSIDE, CA --- State Compensation Insurance Fund is presenting a free seminar explaining the ins and outs of workers’ compensation claims and how to potentially spot fraud.

The event takes place November 4 in Riverside.

Topics to be discussed include:

  • Benefits for injured employees and how they are calculated
  • Practices that can reduce the costs of claims
  • Ways to recognize red flags for possible fraud

Registration and complimentary continental breakfast begin at 8:30 a.m. at the State Fund Riverside Regional Office, 6301 Day Street. The seminar will end at noon.
