California Workforce Safety Agencies and Regulations Explained in State Fund Seminar

BAKERSFIELD, CA --- A free seminar offered by State Compensation Insurance Fund aims to raise employer awareness of how various government agencies and regulations can impact their businesses.

The event takes place on November 17 in Bakersfield.

Presentation topics include:

  • Benefits of partnering with Cal/OSHA Consultation Service
  • Reasons for Economic and Employment Enforcement Coalition (EEEC) surprise inspections
  • Effects of the Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA) on workers’ comp claims

Registration and complimentary continental breakfast begin at 7:30 a.m. at the Bakersfield Marriott at the Convention Center, 801 Truxtun Avenue. The seminar will end at 12:00 p.m.
